We had a chance to get out of town yesterday and go over to a friends house for lunch. They put out quite an amazing spread. Off the grill we had chimichurri marinated churrasco, sausages, and chicken thighs. All accompanied by sweet peppers with feta and olive oil, potato gratin, Mediterranean salad and more. Delicious. Dessert put me into a coma. I remember a torta de tres leches, a pear crumble, and the rest is a blissful blur. It’s important to have friends with good taste!
Now off to make another pizza.
I’m in the middle of creating a dish with chicken thighs. I removed the bones from 5 pounds of thighs and to not waste anything I figured I would make a quick stock. Fresh stock always tastes great and can be frozen for later use. I plan on using this in the next few days so I’ll just keep it in the fridge until then. Continue reading
I finally decided to join the ranks of millions of technologically competent individuals with too much time on their hands. Welcome to my blog. I am still unsure which direction this outlet for my rambling will go, but I imagine it will have a large emphasis on food.
