Cooking has been a passion of mine for a long time now. I started helping out in the kitchen as a youngster and became serious while in college, as I was broke and tired of eating ramen noodles. My profession keeps me well traveled, thus giving me ample opportunities to learn new culinary skills from other cultures. “Gringo Picante” is a nickname affectionately given to me by close friends in South America.
